
No. 6 Georgia Travels to Face No. 2 Auburn

ATHENS, Ga. — The sixth-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team will face No. 2 Auburn Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.
The Bulldogs are 2-1 throughout the fall season after defeating South Carolina by a 15-4 margin on Oct. 13 at the UGA Equestrian Complex. The Bulldogs swept the Most Outstanding Performer honors as Nora Andrews (Flat), Tessa Brown (Fences), Jillian Stopperich (Horsemanship) and Cadence Eger (Reining) were recognized for their rides.
The Tigers own an undefeated, 3-0, record for the season after an 11-9 win over No. 10 UT Martin last Friday, Oct. 13.
Georgia and Auburn rode against each other twice last season. The Tigers took home the win for both meetings as they defeated the Bulldogs 11-8 and 14-4. The Bulldogs hold a close 28-26 all-time advantage over the Tigers. Auburn is 12-10 against Georgia at home.
