Key Quotes

Tessa Downey | Jumping Seat | Sr.
On winning today's meet…
"I think we had some great opportunities in our previous weeks to really close the door on a few of our events, and today we went and showed that. Obviously, there is always room for improvement; there's always room to get that board 20-0. I think we're putting ourselves in a nice spot for the whole season."

Head Coach Meghan Boenig
On today's meet overall….
"It's always great to get out there and compete, be back at home, have beautiful weather, great competitors, and be able to go out there and execute ride after ride. I felt like there was a lot more improvement and consistency within the riders. We saw some people new coming in and stepping up in a big way. I think we're building. There's little places we need to see closing the gap. We know that next competition coming up on the road is going to hit hard. It was great competitors. We've got work to do, but there's a lot to be proud of."
