Linea Bajraliu Signs With Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. — Linea Bajraliu (pronounced lih-NAY-ah by-rah-LEE-oo), a standout from Helsingborg, Sweden, has signed with the Bulldogs, women's tennis head coach Drake Bernstein announced Monday.
Bajraliu arrives in Athens with an 11.14 Universal Tennis Rating (UTR), a WTA singles ranking of No. 742 and a career-high ITF junior ranking of No. 61.
She has represented Sweden in the Billie Jean King Cup in both 2025 and 2026 and captured the ITF W15 title in Lousada, Portugal. Bajraliu also advanced to the finals of two additional ITF W15 tournaments.
"We are excited for Linea to join the team this fall," said Bernstein. "She will be a wonderful addition to our 2026 class. We believe her best tennis is in front of her and look forward to seeing her thrive in Athens."
In 2026, the Bulldogs captured the ITA National Team Indoor Championship and finished with a 22-6 record while earning a No. 3 national ranking.
