Cary, N.C. — Georgia's No. 54 Emma Dong and No. 80 Linea Bajraliu each defeated ranked opponents Wednesday, advancing to the second round of the ITA All-American Championships main draw.

No. 54 Dong battled past No. 58 Liv Hovde of Duke, (4)6-7, 6-1, 6-4, to advance to the second round.
No. 80 Bajraliu posted a straight-set victory over No. 29 Alyssa Ahn of Stanford, 7-5, 7-5, to move on to the second round.
No. 39 Nao Nishino of Ohio State defeated Patricija Paukstyte, 6-1, 6-3.
