Three Bulldogs Advance to ITA All-American Main Draw

Cary, N.C. — Three Bulldogs advanced to the singles main draw Tuesday at the ITA All-American Championships, as Bella Payne, Patricija Paukstyte and No. 80 Linea Bajraliu each earned qualifying-round victories. Nadia Lagaev battled through three sets before falling in the final round of qualifying.

Fast Facts:

Paukstyte cruised past Wisconsin's Lucie Urbanova, 6-2, 6-2, to advance to the singles main draw.
No. 80 Bajraliu followed with a 7-6(3), 6-1 victory over Oklahoma State's Arina Malygina to secure her place in the main draw.
Payne completed Georgia's trio of singles qualifiers with a 7-6(7), 6-4 victory over Florida State's No. 94 Joanna Kennedy.
Lagaev battled Florida's Capucine Jauffret through three sets before falling, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4.
Emma Dong and Bajraliu posted a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Dartmouth's No. 73 Michela Moore and Peyton Capuano.
Ranah Stoiber and Anastasiia Gureva followed with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Elon's Mariana Reding and Simone Bergeron.
San Diego's Vilma Krebs Hyllested Hannah Read took down Payne and Paukstyte 6-4, 6-4 for the remaining Georgia doubles pair main draw attempt.
