Ray Grand Slam Lifts Georgia over Kentucky, 11-1, to Clinch Series

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs clinched the series against Kentucky with an 11-1 (5 inn.) win on Saturday afternoon at the John Cropp Stadium. Georgia improves to 26-8 (5-3) on the season while the Wildcats moves to 21-15 (1-10).

- RHP Addisen Fisher made the start in the circle going 4.0 innings with four hits, one earned run, one walk and three strikeouts. LHP Ada Little pitched the final inning with a walk and a punch-out.
- Natalie Ray – now 3-4 in the series – blasted a grand slam in the top of the first inning to give the Bulldogs the lead to tally her 100th career hit. She later sent an RBI single to left field in the top of the third inning. She ended the day 2-3 with a career-best five RBIs.
- Georgia added four more runs in the fourth inning before tacking on two runs in the top of the fifth inning to extend the lead to 10.
