Goodwin Signs with AUSL’s Texas Volts for the 2026 Season

ROUND ROCK, Texas – Outfielder Jaydyn Goodwin has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League's Texas Volts for the 2026 campaign, per an announcement by the league.
Goodwin was a four-year member of the Bulldog program and tallied over 200 career hits for Georgia – the most of any player on the 2026 team. She was a .349-career hitter and tallied 38 home runs and 152 RBI across her time in Athens. This year, she was named first team All-SEC, first team All-South-Region and third team All-American.
"We put eyes on Jaydyn a little while back, and every time our staff watched, she had a big moment," said Volts General Manager Cat Osterman. "We needed to fill some big shoes in the outfield, and the way she plays, her skills and her obvious love for the game, she fits the mold. We are excited to see her impact on both sides of the ball."
Goodwin is the first Bulldog to ink with an AUSL side. The AUSL was founded in 2024, and the inaugural season was in 2025 where the Utah Talons were crowned champions.
The Texas Volts open the regular season on June 9th in Oklahoma City against the Spark in a three-game series.
