KEY QUOTE
Head coach Tony Baldwin
"I thought we came out of the box really well, and I thought we were in a good spot. I thought Lilli [Backes] was competing. I thought we had a good plan that we were executing in the batter's box. Then, in the middle innings, we just kind of got away from it. I think we lost a little bit of the momentum, and they capitalized in the inning there. That was the name of the game. I'm proud of the way we responded at the end and put some pressure on them. At the end of the day, in this league, you have to play all seven innings. You have to stick to a game plan. You have to execute, or you get beat. That's what happened today. We didn't execute a game plan quite well enough. We'll get back to work on Tuesday and be ready for Georgia Southern on Wednesday."
