ATHENS, Ga. – The 13^th-ranked Georgia softball team defeated No. 7 Tennessee on Saturday in a nine-inning affair, 4-3, in front of a crowd of 2,316 at Jack Turner Stadium. The win evens the weekend series against the Lady Vols.

Georgia improves to 19-3 on the season and 1-1 in SEC play.

FAST FACTS

Saturday's official attendance of 2,316 became the fourth-largest crowd in Jack Turner Stadium history.
Tyler Ellison provided the walk-off hit, a single through the left side of the infield, to drive in pinch runner Precious Bross and win the game in the ninth inning.
Randi Roelling (5-1) pitched a career-long nine innings in her start, throwing 157 pitches. She struck out five batters, allowing three runs on seven hits.
Jaydyn Goodwin knocked her fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the first, to put Georgia ahead 2-0. She now co-leads the team with Sarah Gordon in the category.
Dallis Goodnight, Goodwin, and Ellison all recorded two hits in the game. Ellison was on base four times: two hits, two walks.
