A Look at What's Ahead
Georgia will hit the road for its first midweek game of the season on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Clemson. The Bulldogs and Tigers are set for a 4 p.m. first pitch in Clemson. Georgia will then host Stetson, UMBC, and Ohio State in the Bulldog Classic Feb. 28-March 2 at Jack Turner Stadium.

Let's Recap
Georgia picked up four more wins to improve to 9-0 on the season. The Bulldogs edged Michigan 3-2 on Thursday before run ruling Michigan State on Friday, 10-2. Saturday's rematches with the Wolverines and Spartans were rained out. UGA combined for 23 runs in a pair of wins on Sunday over Longwood and Western Carolina. Randi Roelling tied a career-best 12 strikeouts in her outing against Longwood en route to her third victory of the season. The twin bill also featured a pair of first-inning grand slams off the bats of Sarah Gordon and Tyler Ellison.

Starting Strong
30 of Georgia's 74 runs (40 percent) have come in the first inning. The Bulldogs have scored five or more runs in the first inning five times in nine games so far. UGA has pushed a run across in the first inning in seven games.

Roelling it Back(es)
Lefty pitchers Lilli Backes and Randi Roelling combined for 21 and two-thirds shutout innings on opening weekend and four of Georgia's five win in the circle. The pair struck out 28 batters ans paced a staff that held batters to a .136 batting average on opening weekend. Roelling gave up just three hits in 12 innings in her first week as a Bulldog, holding batters to a .075 batting average.

Feeling Good
Dallis Goodnight started the season hitting .615 on opening weekend with a .688 on-base clip; both averages leading the team. Goodnight's first at-bat, the first at-bat for the Bulldogs in 2025, was a home run. She scored seven of Georgia's 38 runs in Orlando and stole four bases.

Young Pups on Roster
Eleven of the 20 student-athletes on Georgia's roster are freshmen or sophomores. Of that 11, a combination of eight (7 freshmen, 1 transfer) are all newcomers to the roster. Four of the freshmen (Paislie Allen, Tyah Charlton, Ester White, Mua Williams) appear on freshman watch lists by D1Softball and Softball America.
