The ninth-ranked Georgia softball team returns to Athens to open a seven-game homestand on Wednesday when USC-Upstate comes to Jack Turner Stadium. The final midweek game of the season begins at 6 p.m. on SEC Network+.

- Admission to every regular-season home game is free; no tickets are required to enter Jack Turner Stadium. Seating is first come, first served. Gates open one hour prior to first pitch.
- For the 2024 season, parking is available in the lot closest to S. Milledge Ave. The back lot is closed due to construction.

Recapping Action
Georgia dropped two of three games on the road over the weekend to the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky took the opener 7-5 on Friday. Dallis Goodnight's first-career grand slam lifted Georgia to a 6-4 win on Saturday to even the series. The Bulldogs hit three home runs in the game. Kentucky claimed the series on Sunday with a 6-2 victory over the Bulldogs.

A Look at What's Ahead
The Missouri Tigers come to the Classic City for a three-game series beginning Friday, April 19. Friday's series opener is set for 6 p.m. Saturday's 2 p.m. game will air on SEC Network and will be Georgia's annual pink game. Sunday's finale is set for 2 p.m. at Jack Turner Stadium.

Backes Out of the Bullpen
Lilli Backes currently has five saves on the season, the second-most in the SEC. Her five saves ties for third-most in a single season at Georgia and is already top 10 in career saves. She has finished the most games of anyone in the SEC, completing 17 games. She also has appeared in relief the most; 19 of her 29 appearances have been in relief. Georgia and Missouri lead the SEC with 10 saves each.

Georgia currently ranks 11th in the country in total walks and fourth in the SEC in the category. Georgia has drawn 170 walks this season, led by Lyndi Rae Davis' 33 free bases.

Sara Mosley: The RBI Machine
