Georgia softball continues Southeastern Conference play this weekend as it travels to Bryan-College Station for its first road series against No. 24/21 Texas A&M. 
 
The series begins Friday at 6 p.m., ET, from Davis Diamond. Saturday's game will also begin at 6 p.m. with Sunday's finale set for a 2 p.m. first pitch.

Recapping Action
Georgia defeated the Furman Paladins in midweek action Wednesday, 7-1, at Jack Turner Stadium. The offense scattered 12 hits in the contest. Sydney Chambley, Sara Mosley, and Sydney Kuma all had two-hit games for the Dogs. Shelby Walters worked four shutout innings in her start, allowing just one hit. Walters retired the first 11 Paladin hitters of the game. Kylie Macy, Riley Orcutt, Sydney Osada, and Destin Howard combined to pitch the final three innings. The offense didn't strike out at all while the pitching staff allowed no walks in the contest. 
 
A Look at What's Ahead
Georgia returns to Athens to open an eight-game homestand beginning next Wednesday when in-state foe Kennesaw State comes to Athens. The 7 p.m. matchup will air on SEC Network. Georgia then welcomes Mississippi State for a three-game SEC series beginning March 24.

Mosley is Heating Up
Entering Wednesday's game, senior Sara Mosley carried a four-game home run streak. She tied Jayda Kearney for the team lead with nine home runs on the season. Sydney Chambley was the last Bulldog with such a streak when she homered in five-straight games a season ago. 
 
Kurland, Kearney Provide Heroics in Auburn Series Finale
Down 4-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning in the rubber game of the Auburn series, Ally Kurland provided a two-run home run to centerfield to send the game to extra innings. Jayda Kearney called game in the 10th inning with a walk-off solo home run to down the Tigers 5-4 and clinch the series for Georgia. 
 
Walters Tosses 47th No-No in Program History
Graduate Shelby Walters pitched a six-inning no-hitter against Samford in the Bulldog Class on March 4. It was the 47th no-hitter in the history of the Georgia softball program. She tied a season-best eight strikeouts in the game, allowing just two walks in an otherwise perfect outing.
 
Offense Blasts 12 Homers in Bulldog Classic
The Bulldogs combined for 12 home runs in five games of the Bulldog Classic including five in the finale against Samford on March 5. Sydney Chambley led the attack with three on the weekend while Jayda Kearney, Jaiden Fields, Sydney Kuma, and Ally Kurland each knocked two. Two of the blasts were game-ending home runs to enact a run rule.
