QUICK KICKS
Show Me a Win
Georgia remains at home to face Missouri in a critical SEC showdown. Both the Bulldogs and Tigers have tallied seven points in conference play, with Georgia currently holding the 10th and final spot in the SEC Tournament. After losing five of their first six meetings against Mizzou, Georgia is unbeaten in the last three, including a 1-0 win last season in Columbia. This is Mizzou's first trip to Athens since 2018, with the scheduled 2020 matchup cancelled due to COVID-19.

Hearty Home Slate
Georgia has faced one of the toughest home schedules in the country with four ranked opponents playing at Turner this season, tied for the most in a single season (1997, 2009, 2015). The Bulldogs have played three consecutive ranked opponents in Athens (No. 8 South Carolina, No. 6 Alabama, No. 19 Tennessee), matching a run of three straight ranked home opponents in 2008 (No. 7 Virginia, No. 10 Stanford, No. 3 USC).

Vanquished by Vols
With a pair of late goals, Georgia fell to No. 19 Tennessee, 2-0, on Sunday at Turner. After a scoreless first half, the Lady Vols turned up the intensity with 11 second-half shots, capitalizing with two goals in a 40-second span. Liz Beardsley posted three saves in the loss, which was Georgia's third-consecutive defeat at home.

Spreading the Wealth
Through 14 matches, 15 different Bulldogs have scored this season, the second-most goal scorers in a single season. In the 1998 season, 16 different players netted a goal. In another sign of the Bulldogs' depth, 11 of Georgia's 30 goals this season (36.7 percent) have been scored by players coming off the bench.

Dawgs in the Polls
This week, Georgia stayed pat at 43rd in the NCAA RPI rankings. The Bulldogs are one of 11 SEC schools ranked in the top 55 of the RPI, including upcoming opponents Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Graduates Nearing History
With her 28th-minute goal against FSU, graduate forward Dani Murguia reached 50 points in her career, moving closer to the top 10 in program history. With an assist against Georgia State, Murguia now sits only three behind Suzannah Weathersbee for the program career record (24) and will look to set a new top mark during the season.

Fellow graduates Abby Boyan and Cecily Stoute are also nearing the top of the program record books. Boyan has now appeared and started in 85 matches (second in program history in starts), putting her on pace to eventually break the records held by Natalie Farley (88 appearances) and Carrie Patterson (87 starts). She is also now ranked fourth in shots (186) and seventh all-time in assists (18). Murguia (84 appearances) and Stoute (82 apps/starts) are also in line to eventually reach the top of the list as well.

Draw with the Dores
Georgia tallied its first tie of the season at Vanderbilt on Thursday evening, overcoming an early goal with an equalizer by Ellie Gilbert in the 16th minute. The draw marked the first result against Vanderbilt since a win in 2015, breaking a six-match losing streak. The Bulldogs' offense posted one of its top performances of the season, outshooting the Commodores, 12-5 (8-2 on frame), while the defense only allowed three Vandy corner kicks. Thursday's match saw seven starters play a full 90 minutes, with only a season-low 16 Bulldogs seeing the field.
