Let's Recap
The Bulldogs added to their winning streak by defeating the Ole Miss Rebels Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia has won six-straight SEC matches for the first time since 2008. The Bulldogs were led offensively by Kacie Evans, tallying a season-best 20 kills, the first 20-kill performance of her career. Along with 10 digs, it was Evans' fifth double-double of the season. At the service line, Brynn Chandler registered a career-high seven service aces. That figure ranks second all-time for aces in a four-set match. She also tallied a career-best 12 digs. As a team, Georgia registered 12 aces altogether as junior Kendall Glover added three, tying a season high. Defensively, Glover picked up 23 digs. Along with Evans, two other Bulldogs topped the double-digit kill mark including Rachel Ritchie (13) and Kianna Young (12). Senior setter Meghan Donovan also tallied a double-double, handing out 48 assists and putting up 18 digs, tying a season high.

A Positive Start in League Play
Through eight SEC matches, Georgia has won seven of its eight contests. Georgia's best SEC start was 9-0 in 1993.

Streaking in League Play
The Bulldogs have won six-straight SEC matches after dropping a four-setter to Florida. The last time Georgia won six-straight league matches was 2008. The winning streak matches a season-long from earlier this season which is the longest since a seven match streak to open the 2018 season. Georgia's current streak ties the second-longest for the Bulldogs in the Tom Black era.

Bulldogs receiving votes in Poll
Georgia received votes in the week eight AVCA Poll released Oct. 21. The last season Georgia received votes was in 2017, Tom Black's first season. The Bulldogs have not been ranked in the top-25 poll since the 1996 preseason poll (#24). Georgia's highest-ever ranking came Oct. 26, 1993 when the Bulldogs received a rank of #13.

This season, her 11.41 assists per set ranks fifth in the country and is currently second in the SEC. As a team, Georgia leads the SEC with 953 assists, 836 of which have come from Donovan. Nationally, Georgia ranks 16th with 13.05 assists per set.
