The Bulldogs widened their winning streak to five matches with a four-set road victory at Auburn Sunday. Georgia last won five-straight conference matches in 2008 when the Bulldogs won six-straight. The Bulldog offense was led by 17 kills from junior Rachel Ritchie. Sophomore Kayla Rivera tallied 13 kills, one short of her career high, and junior Kianna Young contributed 12. Defensively, four reached the double-digit dig mark led by 22 from junior libero Kendall Glover. Sophomore Claire Rothenberger put up a season-high 15 while senior setter Meghan Donovan added 14. Freshman Kacie Evans tallied a season-best 13 to accompany her eight kills. Georgia's 87 digs are the most in a four-set match in rally scoring history. The last time Georgia had 75 or more digs was at Auburn a season ago (Oct. 3, 2018).

A Positive Start in League Play
Through seven SEC matches, Georgia has won six of its seven contests. Through seven matches, it's Georgia's best start to league play since opening the 1994 season 6-1. Georgia's best SEC start was 9-0 the season prior in 1993.

Georgia received votes in the week eight AVCA Poll released Oct. 21. The last season Georgia received votes was in 2017, Tom Black's first season. The Bulldogs have not been ranked in the top-25 poll since the 1996 preseason poll (#24). Georgia's highest-ever ranking came Oct. 26, 1993 when the Bulldogs received a rank of #13.
