Sloan Vlahos

Sloan Vlahos is entering her fourth year as a performance dietitian for the University of Georgia Athletic Association. 

Vlahos has extensive experience in enhancing the mental and physical athletic performance of student-athletes with a mission of helping individuals make dietary decisions that are sustainable and performance focused. 

The Modesto, Calif., native graduated from California Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2013, and was a student-athlete on the softball team for four years. 

She then earned a master's degree in nutrition and dietetics from Loma Linda University in 2017. Following graduation, she worked as a sports nutrition intern at the University of Florida in 2018. 

Vlahos is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), Sports and Human Performance Nutrition dietetic practice group (SHPN), and Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA). She is a licensed dietitian and board certified specialist in sports dietetics. 

She is married to husband Brandon Vlahos.
