Georgia volleyball is back on the road this weekend, heading to Mobile, Alabama for the South Alabama Invitational, beginning Friday.
The Bulldogs will take on Tulane on Friday, Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. ET to open action. They will then play host South Alabama on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Georgia will close out tournament action against Kennesaw State on Sunday, Sept. 13. at 1 p.m.

The match kicks off a four-match homestand at Stegeman Coliseum as Southeastern Conference play begins Wednesday, Sept. 23 against South Carolina.

Georgia beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 3-1 on Tuesday as part of the 2026 Showdown at the Net between the SEC and the ACC. Bianna Muoneke led the Bulldogs with a season-high 27 kills on a season-best .426 hitting percentage. It was her third double-double of the 2026 campaign with a season-best 14 digs and third. She tied Georgia rally scoring records with 27 kills and 30.0 points in four sets. A third of Muoneke's kills (9) came in the first set. That number tied a Georgia set record of kills in a set, set twice before, last done by Ann Dylla in the third set at Northern Colorado on Sept. 4, 2010. Muoneke finished the match with eight kills in the fourth. Graduate middle Tori Harper recorded a career-high 10 kills, the first double-digit kill match of her career. She did it on a .471 percentage with a team-best three blocks. The Bulldogs won the third set 25-9, starting with an 11-0 serving run by Ana Julia Bleeker. Notre Dame's nine points tie for the fifth-fewest points allowed by Georgia in program history.

Bianna Muoneke led the Bulldogs to a four-set win over Notre Dame on Sept. 8 at Stegeman Coliseum with a season-high 27 kills on a season-best .426 hitting percentage. She tied Georgia rally scoring records with 27 kills and 30.0 points in four sets. It was her third double-double of the 2026 campaign with a season-best 14 digs and third. A third of Muoneke's kills (9) came in the first set. That number tied a Georgia set record of kills in a set, set twice before, last done by Ann Dylla in the third set at Northern Colorado on Sept. 4, 2010. Artiles Captures First SEC Freshman of the Week of 2026
Gigi Artiles was named the first SEC Freshman of the Week of the 2026 season. In her collegiate debut, Artiles recorded 3.00 kills per set on a .434 hitting percentage, 1.60 digs per set, and 1.10 blocks per set to help lift Georgia to a trio of wins in the Classic City Clash at Stegeman Coliseum. The Miami kicked off the weekend with a team-high 10 kills on a .444 hitting clip against North Florida in the season opener on Friday. She added two blocks and seven digs against the Ospreys. She wrapped up the Classic City Clash with 12 kills on a .579 hitting percentage with seven total blocks and seven digs against Furman on Saturday.
Muoneke Eclipses 1,000 Career Kills
Senior outside hitter Bianna Muoneke tallied the 1,000th kill of her career in the fourth set against Furman on Aug. 29 at Stegeman Coliseum. Her team-leading 15th and final kill marked the career milestone. She also recorded her first double-double of the season with 11 digs. The Cypress, Texas native is on track to become a member of Georgia's 1,000-Kill Club, needing 297 kills to become the 21st member of the elite club.
