Key Quotes:
Georgia Head Coach Tony Baldwin
Opening Statement…
"What a game. Just really proud of the way our team came out and responded. These late starts are a little different and so you know you have to manage your time and energy over the course of the day. I thought they did a really good job of doing that and then came out with a really good energy level tonight. Certainly, some competitiveness. I thought we kept learning each and every at bat and managed the strike zone well and the batter's box. I thought Randi [Roelling] did what Randi does in terms of just competed and executed pitches, and I thought she was outstanding. Overall, just proud of the way that we competed and that we got the 'W,' and we get a chance to play again tomorrow."

On the rematch with Oklahoma tomorrow…
"I'm not sure there's many teams that look forward to another crack at them, but at the end of the day, we've talked since the outset that this is a race for us and a competition for us of trying to be the best version of ourselves. Oklahoma is the team that gives us that opportunity tomorrow to challenge ourselves and learn and grow and compete, and we know that if we do that we'll have a chance against anybody. They have a great team. You don't get many holes in their lineup. They have a lot of pitching variation. They're obviously well coached. They defend well. You name a superlative, and you can throw it at Oklahoma. We're going to go out, and we're going to play. We're going to compete, and I think we learned last time that we make a pitch here or have a clutch hit here or make one more play then the outcomes can go different. We're going to fight like heck to get those edges tomorrow night."

#22 Emily Digby | Jr. | INF
On her role in the lineup…
"Ultimately, it's a spot in the lineup, and we have to get our job done just like the top half of the lineup does. It's no different and we all understand that. Tonight we just pass the bat just like it's always fun to do."

#34 Randi Roelling | Jr. | LHP
On her performance…
"I think just going out there and getting zeroes on the board for them. We want it, and I want it for them. We're out there, and we have each other's back. When they do it I have to get the job done, too. I'm just going to go out there and give it all I got."
