Georgia Moves to 18th After Round Two of NCAA Championship

CARLSBAD, Calif. --- The Georgia men's golf team moved to 18th at seven-over par after two rounds of stroke play at the NCAA National Championship at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. The Bulldogs shot three-over in the second round on Saturday.

- Senior Carter Loflin led the Bulldogs in round two and shot 2-under with five birdies on the day. After 36 holes he's 1-under and tied for 33rd on the leaderboard.
- Junior Grayson Wood was 1-over in the second round and sits at even par and tied for 43rd.
- Sophomore James Earle went 4-over in the second round, making him 2-over at the championship.
- Freshman JD Culbreth and sophomore Matt Moloney shot 3-over par today, sitting at 7-over and 8-over respectively after two rounds.
- Auburn is in the lead at 20-under par, followed by Texas and Vanderbilt at 12-under, then UCLA and Oklahoma State tied for fourth at 7-under. Duke, Virginia, and Arizona are in sixth at 4-under par after two rounds.
