Bulldogs Set For SEC Championship at Sea Island

ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 25 Georgia golf team begins play at the SEC Championship this week at the Sea Island Course in Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Stroke play will take place Wednesday April 22 through Friday April 24 with match play closing out the weekend.

Course Information
The Sea Island Golf Course will serve as host site of the 2025 SEC Championship. It is a 7,005-yard course that plays as a par 70.

Championship Format
All 16 teams will play in the first three rounds of stroke play on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The top eight teams after those three rounds will compete in the match play quarterfinals on Saturday morning. The winners of those matches will advance to the semifinals on Saturday afternoon before the championship takes place on Sunday.
