ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 13 Georgia Bulldogs fell to No. 5 Texas, 4-2, to drop the home series on Monday night at the Jack Turner Stadium. Georgia moves to 32-13 (10-8) while the Longhorns improve to 34-8 (12-6).

FAST FACTS

RHP Addisen Fisher made the start for Georgia going 4.0 innings with seven hits, three runs and three strikeouts. LHPs Randi Roelling and Ada Little pitched in relief. Roelling went 3.0 with four hits, three earned runs and four punch outs, and Little closed the eighth inning with two hits and a strikeout.
Texas jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third inning.
Junior Emily Digby responded in the fourth frame with an RBI double to put the Bulldogs on the board.
Down 3-1 going into the bottom of the seventh, senior Jaydyn Goodwin blasted a two-run homer to send the game to extra innings. This was the first extra-inning game of the season.
