Top-Ranked Georgia Welcomes No. 17 Florida, No. 4 Auburn

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (10-3, 5-2 SEC) returns home to host two conference matches following a four-match road stint. The Bulldogs will face No. 17 Florida (10-3, 5-2 SEC) on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET before taking on No. 4 Auburn (23-1, 7-0 SEC) on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Fast Facts

Georgia has won nine straight matches against Florida despite trailing 51-24 in the all-time series. The Bulldogs' last win over the Gators came March 2, 2025, in a 4-0 decision.
Georgia leads Auburn 61-9 in the all-time series and most recently won 4-3 at the ITA Indoor National Championships on Feb. 9, 2026, to advance to the championship match.
Georgia features five players in the singles rankings: No. 6 Aysegul Mert, No. 28 Anastasiia Lopata, No. 42 Anastasiia Gureva, No. 68 Deniz Dilek and No. 97 Sofia Rojas.

Florida

Florida has seven ranked singles players: No. 39 Gabia Paskauskas, No. 60 India Houghton, No. 69 Nikola Daubnerova, No. 78 Valery Gynina, No. 105 Lucie Pawlak, No. 116 Emily Seibold and No. 123 Brooke Black.
Florida has one ranked doubles pair: No. 34 Nikola Daubnerova and Xinyi Nong.
Florida enters on a three-match winning streak and will play its first road match since March 7.

Auburn

Auburn has six ranked singles players: No. 38 Ashton Bowers, No. 43 DJ Bennett, No. 49 Ava Esposito, No. 55 Ekaterina Khayrutidinova, No. 94 Angella Okutoyi and No. 122 Merna Refaat.
Auburn has two ranked doubles pairs: No. 16 Esposito and Bennett, and No. 20 Okutoyi and Refaat.
Auburn enters undefeated in SEC play and on the road and has won 24 consecutive doubles points in dual matches.
