Albert Leads Bulldogs with Career-Best Finish at Briars Creek Invitational

JOHN'S ISLAND, S.C. — Led by Gabriella Albert's 11th place finish, the Georgia women's golf team shot an 8-over 296 in Tuesday's second round of the Briars Creek Invitational.
Five Fast Facts
• The Bulldogs finished the tournament in 15th place.
• Georgia shaved seven strokes off its first-round score to improve to 8-over par in round two.
• Albert posted a career-best 11th-place finish at 1-under 143, carding five birdies in round two and 1-under 71. Freshman Trinity Beth finished even par in round two and recorded her eighth par-or-better score in 11 rounds this spring, while Albert notched her sixth.
• After three bogeys on the back nine, Karoline Tuttle rebounded with three consecutive birdies on the front nine to finish at 1-over 73.
• Georgia posted a 599 total over two rounds.
