Bulldogs Fall in Four-Set Battle with No. 4 Gators

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Georgia volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to fourth-ranked Florida on Sunday, 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 16-25, 19-25), at the O'Connell Center.

Georgia is now 15-8 on the season and 7-6 in SEC play.

FAST FACTS

Senior outside Bianna Muoneke led the attack with 19 kills. With 11 digs, she also recorded her second double-double of the weekend and eighth of the season.
Sophomore setter Chloe Elarton picked up her team-best 11^th double-double of the season with 40 assists and a career-high 18 digs. Her 18 digs led the match and tied a season high for a Bulldog.
Graduate middles Tori Harper and Kendal Kemp laid down nine and eight kills, respectively, each hitting north of .350. Harper led the team with five blocks.
Freshman outside and Florida native Gigi Artiles had seven kills with six digs on the outside.
Georgia served up eight aces, the most since Oct. 18 at LSU (12). Artiles led with three, followed by two from each of Alyssa Worden and Ana Julia Bleeker.
Muoneke led the offense with six kills in the first set. Along with Muoneke, five Bulldogs tallied two or more kills as Georgia hit. 222.
The Bulldogs leveled the match, winning set two 25-22. Five aces and three blocks helped the Bulldogs to the set win. Harper added five kills to co-lead the team in the frame and assisted on all three blocks.
The first two sets were back-and-forth battles. The first set was tied eight times, and the lead changed twice times. The second set topped that with 15 ties and eight lead changes.

Georgia hosts No. 10 Tennessee for 10K Day on Friday, Nov. 13 at Stegeman Coliseum. First serve is set for 7 p.m. on SEC Network+. Admission is free.

10K DAY SET FOR FRIDAY, NOV. 13
10K Day Presented by Buffalo Wild Wings will be on Friday, Nov. 13, when the Bulldogs host Tennessee at Stegeman Coliseum.

Georgia has set program and state NCAA volleyball attendance records each of the last two seasons on 10K Day. Last season's 10K Day set the current mark of 8,719 fans. The Bulldogs will look to break both records again in 2026 with the goal of welcoming 10 thousand fans this season.

General admission to every home Georgia volleyball match is free. First serve is set for 7 p.m. against the Lady Vols. Gates will open at 6 p.m. The first 1,000 University of Georgia students will receive a free lightweight hooded shirt. The first 1,000 fans will receive a 10K Day t-shirt. The first 36 fans to enter through Gate A will sit courtside.
