KEY QUOTE: "Disappointing loss," said head coach Jamie Hunt, "I thought we put ourselves in a position to win, again. We played outstanding doubles which was a nice bright spot. Ryan Colby was phenomenal again. He continues to just put together an amazing seniors season, and Niels was really tough down there on five. He played a great player. Really proud of the toughness he showed. Again, we put ourselves in a position to win, but we have got to close out sets. It's as simple as that. We had opportunities at one to close out second set, and we had opportunities with match point on six to win the match. We have to close our opponents out when we get that opportunity, and you have to give them credit. They hung around and played tough, but we have to close that match out."
UP NEXT: The Bulldogs are set to face No. 21 South Carolina on Saturday, Apr. 5 at the Carolina Tennis Center. Doubles are set to commence at 1:00 p.m. E.T.
