March 18, 2025 | Swimming & Diving, Women's Swimming & Diving
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team heads west to face the nation's top competition at the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, running March 19-22 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
The meet opens in earnest on Wednesday with the 200-yard medley relay and 800y freestyle relay, followed by the full competition slate starting on Thursday, March 20. For each day of action, prelims will begin at 1 p.m. EDT, followed by finals at 9 p.m. EDT. Live coverage of the meet will stream on ESPN+, with live results available here and to paid subscribers on the MeetMobile App.
Eight members of the Georgia women's team qualified for the NCAA Championships, with seniors Duné Coetzee, Eboni McCarty, Abby McCulloh, and Rachel Stege each making their fourth appearances. Juniors Shea Furse and Ieva Maluka and sophomore Helena Jones are competing for the second time, while freshman Marie Landreneau qualified in her rookie campaign.
The Bulldogs' championship roster is bolstered by four relay alternates: graduates Sloane Reinstein and Julianna Stephens, senior Bri Roberson, and freshman Katie Belle Sikes. Reinstein is making her fourth NCAA appearance, while Stephens and Roberson are both in their third nationals meet.
Georgia is looking to improve upon last season's 13th-place finish at home in Athens, which featured McCulloh winning the national title in the 1,650y freestyle along with joining Coetzee and Stege in the 500y free final. Twelve members of the Bulldogs roster earned a combined 24 first and second team All-America citations, including a First Team honor for the 800y freestyle relay.
