No. 3 Georgia Falls to No. 6 Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The third-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team dropped its first of two meets this weekend, falling to sixth-ranked Texas A&M, 12-4, at the Hildebrand Equine Complex in College Station, Texas.

  • The Bulldogs tied in Flat with the Aggies as Jordan Toering and Sophia Pilla recorded 92-point rides. This was Pilla's season high and ties Toering's season-best score.
  • The Aggies took the lead with a 5-0 sweep in Reining to lead 7-2 at halftime.
  • Texas A&M continued with a 3-1 win in Fences. Catalina Peralta won the sole Georgia point with a score of 85.
  • Jillian Stopperich won a point in Horsemanship with a 76-point ride. The Aggies clinched the event, 2-1.

Georgia will face off against No. 5 SMU tomorrow at 11 a.m. ET at the Dallas Equestrian Center.
