» Georgia hosts the Virginia Tech Hokies in the SEC/ACC Challenge this Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum. Tip time is set for 5 p.m. ET.
» This marks the fifth all-time meeting -- and the first since 2019 -- between Georgia and Virginia Tech. The Lady Bulldogs own a 4-0 series record.
» Lady Bulldog sophomore Fatima Diakhate has hit new career-high marks in scoring in each of the last two games. She tallied 15 points against Prairie View A&M, before a career-best 17-point effort against Hampton.
» Georgia has been without the services of crucial players Savannah Henderson, Mia Woolfolk and Nyah Leveretter, who are all out due to injury. Their status is day-to-day.
» Freshman guard Summer Davis is coming off her first career start. Davis is shooting 45 percent from 3-point range this season, hitting 11-of-24 from behind the arc.
» Georgia's five freshmen combine to make up 37 percent of the Lady Bulldogs' scoring this season. That number includes Mia Woolfolk, who has been out with an injury following the first game of the season.
» Freshman Trinity Turner has reached double figures in scoring six of nine games. She scored in double figures in each of her first three contests, the first Lady Bulldog freshman to do so since National Freshman of the Year Tasha Humphrey in 2004. She then led all scorers with 28 points at Georgia Tech, the most points in a game for a Georgia freshman since Gabby Connally in 2018 (37 at Texas A&M).
» Woolfolk led all Georgia rookies with 18 points and 13 rebounds in her debut against NC Central. It is just the third time in program history a freshman has recorded a double-double in her debut. Janet Harris in 1981 and Christi Thomas in 2000 are the only other two to accomplish that feat.
» It was recently announced that Georgia inked the No.18-ranked recruiting class in 2025, marking the second-straight year the team has signed a top-20 class. Georgia was the only SEC team to sign four ESPN top-100 prospects in 2024 -- a class that ranked No. 16 nationally.
