GymDogs Set For SEC Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The University of Georgia GymDogs are set to compete in the afternoon session of the 2022 Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championship on Saturday, March 19 at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Georgia competes against Kentucky, Missouri, and Arkansas. The evening session, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET, will include Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Auburn. Both sessions will broadcast on the SEC Network.

The GymDogs finished the regular-season with a 196.575 National Qualifying Score (NQS) and will open competition on beam for the first rotation, then move to floor, vault, and bars, respectively.

All-time, Georgia leads the SEC with 16 team titles and 101 event championships. The GymDogs last won the conference championship in 2008 before going on to win their fourth-consecutive NCAA title.
