NOTABLES
South Carolina Series History
Saturday's meet marks the 35th time the SEC foes have competed against one another. Georgia leads the series, 23-11. The Bulldogs have won the last two meetings against the Gamecocks, both wins were at home including one during the 2021 SEC Championships.
 
Weekend Sweep
Last weekend, the Bulldogs picked up two wins to improve their overall record to 5-3. Georgia defeated SDSU, 11-8 and picked up a dominant 16-0 win over Minnesota Crookston. Their shutout win over the Golden Eagles is the first since the 2010-11 season when Georgia defeated Tennessee Martin 14-0.
 
MOP Sweep
Georgia also swept MOP honors while in Brookings. Seven Bulldogs took home every MOP honor from their meets between the Jackrabbits and the Golden Eagles.
 
Against SDSU, Jordan Toering was named MOP in Flat and Fences for her performances in Jumping Seat. In Western, Jillian Stopperich won for her Horsemanship ride while Jax Bound won in Reining.
 
Against Minnesota Crookston, Rachel McMullen was named MOP in Fences and Nora Andrews won the honor in Flat. In Western, Grace Himes won in Horsemanship and Lindsay Guynn won in Reining.

Road Dawgs
This weekend marks Georgia's third-straight meet on the road. The Bulldog's will return home for the rest of the regular season as they host Tennessee Martin and Auburn next weekend.
 
20 Years of Glory
The 2021-22 season marks Georgia Equestrian's 20th season. As one of the top equestrian teams in the country, the Bulldogs have claimed seven NCEA National Championship titles and three SEC Championship titles, all under head coach Meghan Boenig.
