Saturday's meet is the 26th all-time meeting since the 2009-10 season between Georgia and Texas A&M, with Georgia leading the series 17-8. The Bulldogs are 8-2 against the Aggies at home and look to seek redemption after being upset back in October.

This is the second time the schools will compete against each other this season, with the first contest going in favor of Texas A&MÂ 13-6. Despite the loss, sophomore rider Sophia Pilla was named Flat MOP. She scored an 87 and defeated her Aggie opponent by a 7.5 scoring margin.

Following top wins for both Southeastern Conference programs, Georgia remained at No. 5 while Texas A&M remained at No. 2. The Bulldogs claimed a road win over No. 1 Sweet Briar (Single Discipline) and the Aggies downed No. 4 Baylor (Dual Discipline) at home.

The Bulldogs feature three undefeated riders in different events going into Saturday's matchup. In Jumping Seat, fifth-year Hayley Mairano leads the Fences squad with a 5-0 record while sophomore Jordan Toering is 6-0 in Flat. Both riders have claimed two MOP honors this season. For Western, senior captain Courtney Blumer holds a 3-0-1 record in Reining.

Saturday's contest is also featured as the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Meet of the Week. Both programs will be spotlighted by the NCEA on social media.
20 Years of Glory
The 2021-22 season marks Georgia Equestrian's 20th season. As one of the top equestrian teams in the country, the Bulldogs have claimed seven NCEA National Championship titles and three SEC Championship titles, all under head coach Meghan Boenig.
