Georgia-Texas CWS Opener Set For Saturday At 8 PM ET

Dates and Times Announced for College World Series
Georgia (51-12) will open play in Omaha on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET against Texas (45-13) on ESPN. Should the Bulldogs win that game, they will next play on Monday, June 15 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN against the winner of Oklahoma and Alabama.
If they lose to Texas on Saturday, they will play at 2 p.m. ET on Monday against the loser of the Oklahoma-Alabama matchup.
The Bulldogs will be playing in the CWS for the first time since 2008 and the seventh time in program history.
Georgia is in its third season under Ike Cousins head baseball coach Wes Johnson. The 2026 Bulldogs captured the SEC regular season title for the first time since 2008, claimed the SEC Tournament title for the first time in program history and then step through an NCAA Athens Regional and Super Regional. The 51 wins ranks second behind the 1990 national champions that finished 52-19.
