Georgia Finishes Eighth at Ford Collegiate

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Georgia men's golf team finished at 7-under par after the final round of the Ford Collegiate golf tournament in Savannah, Georgia.

Junior Grayson Wood started off strong on the front nine, shooting three consecutive birdies on holes 3, 4, and 5. He finished the round with four more birdies to go 5-under on the day and tied for seventh on the individual leaderboard.

Freshman JD Culbreth and sophomore James Earle tied for 26th place after round three. Culbreth shot 1-under par with five birdies, while Earle shot even par.

Three bulldogs finished under par for the tournament. Wood finished 8-under while Culbreth and Earle finished 1-under.

For round three, the Bulldogs finished a collective 4-under.

Texas finished first at 43-under, while Auburn and LSU followed at 32-under and 14-under.
