Georgia tied for fifth after 36 holes in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Georgia men's golf team sits tied for fifth at 3-under par after two rounds at the Ford Collegiate golf tournament in Savannah, Georgia.
FAST FACTS:
- Junior Grayson Wood got off to a hot start in round one, with four birdies in a row on holes two through five. He had six birdies to shoot a 4-under par in round one, followed by a 1-over par round two. His 3-under par total has him tied for 14th.
- Freshman JD Culbreth, senior Carter Loflin and sophomore James Earle all shot 2-under par in round one. Loflin used four birdies on the back nine to finish strong ahead of round two.
- Aside from Wood, Earle was the lone other Bulldog to stay under par following round two, as he is 1-under par on the day.
- Texas leads the way at 30-under par, with Auburn and Georgia Southern at second and third, respectively.
