Georgia Heads to Atlanta for NCAA Women's Championships

March 17, 2026 | Swimming & Diving, Women's Swimming & Diving

ATLANTA – The University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team heads down the highway to face the nation's top competition at the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, running March 18-21 at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center.

Each day of competition will begin morning sessions at 10 a.m. featuring individual prelims and timed relay finals for all but the top eight seeds, followed by finals at 6 p.m. The early heats of the mile finals will also be contested Wednesday morning. In the evening sessions, only 'A' finals will be contested in individual events, and the top eight seeds will swim their relays.

Live coverage of the meet will stream on ESPN+, with live results available here and to paid subscribers on the MeetMobile app.

Five members of the Georgia women's team qualified for the NCAA Championships, with senior Ieva Maluka making her third appearance. Sophomore Marie Landreneau is making her second appearance, while freshmen Kennedi Dobson, Elizabeth Nawrocki, and Clarke Neace are each making their debuts.

The Bulldogs' championship roster is bolstered by four relay alternates: seniors Shea Furse and Emma Norton, sophomore Katie Belle Sikes, and freshman Hayden Hollingsworth. Furse is appearing in her third NCAAs, while Norton and Sikes are each making their second.

Georgia is looking to improve upon last season's 16th-place finish in Federal Way, Washington. Dobson is seeded second in both the mile and 500y freestyle, following SEC silver medals in both events last month. Georgia has placed a swimmer in the 500 free final in 17 of the past 21 NCAA championships, including Rachel Stege in each of the past three seasons. Neace is also seeded in scoring position with a No. 13 rank in the mile, while the 800y freestyle relay is seeded eighth nationally.
