ATHENS, GA.-----Eighth-ranked Georgia plays host to Troy Wednesday at Foley Field. First pitch will be at 3:02 p.m. and be available on SECN+ and the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network.
In the national top 25 polls this week, Georgia (6-1) is ranked as high as No. 8 (Baseball America) and is a consensus top 11 team. The Bulldogs went 4-0 last week including a three-game sweep of Samford, outscoring the Bulldogs from Alabama 45-5.
Georgia is 1-0 all-time against Sun Belt member Troy, the lone meeting coming during the 2018 NCAA Athens Regional (W, 11-7). Troy (3-4) won two of three at home against Campbell this past weekend.
