Georgia Track & Field Claims a Pair of SEC Weekly Awards

Birmingham, Ala. — Georgia track & field's freshman Adaejah Hodge and graduate transfer Kimani Jack have earned Southeastern Conference weekly awards for their performances at Clemson's Tiger Paw Invite, announced Tuesday afternoon.
Georgia has now claimed at least two weekly conference awards every competition week.
Hodge was named SEC Women's Co-Freshman of the Week for another pair of impressive performances in the women's 60 meter dash and 200 meter dash.
The Douglasville, Ga. native reset the 2026 world lead at 22.51 in women's 200 meter dash this weekend, moving her to No. 22 on the indoor collegiate all-time list. Additionally in the women's 60 meter dash, Hodge clocked 7.13, which is good for second in the current NCAA rankings and third in school history.
Jack received the SEC Men's Co-Field Athlete of the Week honors, his first conference weekly award for his performance in the high jump.
The London native took the crown in the men's high jump matching his career-best at 2.25m/7-40. Jack remains tied for the current NCAA lead.
Georgia will return to action Friday with a return trip to Arkansas for the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 20th.
