Georgia Head Coach Keidane McAlpine
On the offside call against Ole Miss..
"Well, the way we set up our defense, we pull into a position to force teams to be in an offside position. So, more times than not, the players who are in behind J.B. (Jordan Brown) will be in an offside position. I think we got one in the second half as well, so it was a similar play."
On how the call changed the team's energy…
"A little momentum in terms of energy because you got a quote on quote second chance to get after it and step it up, and it gave us a little timeout too. We got a chance to reset and refocus because we were playing well up until that moment and I thought we continue to do so."
On how the team stepped up to the physicality of the match…
"I thought we were okay. I thought the first half we were better than the second half in terms of the physicality of the game. The second half was a bit choppy, but we found our way through it. It was a tough game to kind of get into a rhythm, especially the second half, but this is the way the end of the season goes where everybody's fighting for points and position to continue their season. So, this was a good match for us to find a win and an important win as we move forward.
On recovering before Alabama…
"It's going to be tomorrow, get after it, stretch the legs out again, let those who didn't get to play continue to work on their fitness because they didn't get as many minutes. And then we'll take Sunday off and we'll reset. They do a really good job in going to get extra care. And so, we'll continue to lean in on that."

On her goal in the second half…
"In the first half, there were a couple opportunities that I could have taken, but then I didn't. So then there was a final moment in the second half where I was, like, let me have that moment, and I took it, and it was cool."
On who she plays for…
"I dedicated my goal to one of my best friends that passed almost a year ago today. Her name's Lauren Turner. She played soccer, and it's unfortunate that she wasn't able to finish out her career, but I play for her every single day. I start my day for her every single day, and the last time I said goodbye to her, I told her that I was going to come back to her with some good news, so can't wait to see her again, and I love her. I played on Slammers FC in Southern California and played club soccer together for three or four years, but that was my girl, for sure. She played for Cal State Fullerton."

On staying focused after the Ole Miss goal…
"I just hope for the best. I feel like I had my hands on the ball. I was just like, hopefully they see that in the review and they called it offside. I mean, I'll take it. Just keep it 0-0 and keep us in the game and not have us being deflated in that."
