On the match…
"When you come on the road and you can win and get a shutout, I think those are massive strides for us. Was it the cleanest game, especially toward the end? No, but we got three timely goals. We changed our performance, especially at the beginning of the game which I thought was necessary and allowed us to play the way we need to play. I thought our third goal was one of the best we've scored all season. Lot of good, got a lot of young players in SEC play, and get a chance to get hit and run around. That's going to benefit us as we move ahead in the rest of the SEC schedule."
#11 Kiera Staude | Jr. | MF
On earning the win…
"I'm just really proud of our team. It's not easy, especially with a lot of young people on our team – this is their first time playing an SEC conference game and playing on the road…Tonight, we created our own energy and that's not easy to do, so I'm proud of the team."
#22 Cate Hardin | Sr. | D
On scoring again at Texas A&M…
"It felt so full circle. I was talking before the game with a few teammates, 'What if I score tonight?' and it's crazy that it actually happened. I'm just really proud of this team for helping me do that."

Fast Facts
- Georgia (5-2-2, 1-0-0 SEC) snapped its three-match winless streak with a dominant performance, earning its fourth-consecutive win over Texas A&M (3-2-3, 0-1-0 SEC) and posting its largest margin of victory in a conference match since a 3-0 win at Kentucky on Oct. 23, 2022.
- The Bulldogs controlled the pace from the start, outshooting the Aggies, 20-14, including a 7-2 advantage in shots on frame. Redshirt junior midfielder Summer Denigan led all players with a career-high seven shots, while freshman forward Mya Townes tallied three. Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Folliard notched two saves in the second complete shutout of her career.
- Senior defender Cate Hardin opened the scoring in the seventh minute as she headed in a corner kick from Townes, who earned her first career assist. It was the second career goal for Hardin, who posted her previous score at Ellis Field in a 3-2 Georgia win on Sept. 16, 2022.
- Exiting the locker room with a 1-0 lead, Georgia soon put the match out of reach with two quick goals. In the 50th minute, junior midfielder Kiera Staude scored her fifth goal of the year with a lofting strike that deflected off an Aggie defender. Four minutes later, Denigan scored her seventh goal of the season as Hardin and Staude beautifully played the ball to the Bulldogs' leading scorer.
