The Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll includes the sports of baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track and field. It is based on grades from the 2024 Summer, 2024 Fall, and 2025 Spring terms. The 2024-2025 First Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2024-25 academic calendar. Undergraduate student-athletes must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or above for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above. A graduate student-athlete must have a 3.00 GPA or above for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at their current institution. The student-athletes must either be on scholarship, be a letter winner or have been on the varsity team for two seasons and completed 24 semester hours of credit toward an undergraduate degree or 18 semester hours of academic credit toward a graduate degree. The First-Year student-athletes at their nominating institution must have been a member of the varsity team for the entire NCAA season and meet the same GPA requirements.
In 2025, Georgia posted a 43-17 record and played host to an NCAA Regional as a number seven national seed. In other baseball news this week, the final top 25 rankings were released, and the Bulldogs were a consensus top 20 team for the second consecutive year.
Georgia finished No. 15 in the USA TODAY/Coaches poll. It ended the year ranked No. 19 by D1Baseball.com and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and No. 20 by Baseball America. The last time the Bulldogs finished in the top 20 two years in a row after two full seasons came in 2018-19.
