KEY QUOTES
Georgia Co-Head Coach Cécile Canqueteau-Landi

Opening statement...
"Another win at Steg. It was a close one, but a win is a win, so we'll take it. I was told it's the first time since 2017 that they win four, so super proud of the team. It was a rough start in the first two events, but they pulled it together in the last two, so an exciting day at the end."

On Lily Smith's floor routine to clinch the win...
"It's the second meet that she closed it for us and gave us the edge to win, and Lily's a leader. She's a champion, and she shows it every time. She knew what she had to do, and she did it, and the whole team was behind her, so excited for her to gain even more confidence in that position for her."

Lily Smith
On her consistency this season...
"I've been really focusing in the gym. As long as I'm hitting those routines in practice and putting in the work, it's going to show in the meet. I'm trying not to put pressure on myself and just telling myself to go out there and do you. That's all I can do. I'm just trying to be confident when I go out there and do what I know I can do so that I can be my best and clinch the win for us."

On the momentum of the team after clinching the win...
"It builds momentum a lot because it boosts our confidence so much. We knew this was going to be a hard meet, so clinching the win, even though it was close, we still got it. We just have to keep this mindset going into next week, when we go to LSU, and just keep pushing and working hard every day. If we do, it will show in the meets."
