Bulldogs Ink Four for 2026 Season

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia head volleyball coach Tom Black has announced the addition of four student-athletes for the 2026 season. The class includes outside hitter Gigi Artiles, opposite Taylor Bruce, libero/defensive specialist Rylan Miller, and outside Arianna Muoneke.
 
Giavanna "Gigi" Artiles | OH | 6-2 | Miami, Fla. | Westminster Christian School
Gigi Artiles signs with Georgia as the 2025 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year and led Westminster Christian to the 2024 Florida Class 2A state championship and a 3A runner-up finish in 2022 and 2023. Her honors span AVCA Best & Brightest Second Team (2025), Florida Dairy Farmers Class 2A Player of the Year, USAV NDTP Athlete, UA MVP and All-America Watchlist (2025), Class 1A–4A Volleyball Player of the Year (2024), PrepVolleyball.com All-American (2023), All-Dade First Team (2022, 2024). She has been nationally ranked by PrepVolleyball.com (#11 in 2023, #15 in 2024, #23 in 2025) and recognized by VolleyballMag.com as a Top 10 Underclassman to Watch (2023). On the beach, she earned Miami-Dade Beach Volleyball Player of the Year twice (2024, 2025) with state runner-up finishes in 2023 and 2024 and All-Dade First Team (2023).
 
Artiles competed four seasons with Tribe Volleyball, collecting multiple Open titles and podiums across national qualifiers (Florida Power Series champions; Open Gold at Prez Day Invitational; Spring Bash; Clash of the Champions; Winter Warm-Up Open Gold; Florida Frenzy Power Pool; podiums at Sunshine, Northern Lights, NEQ, Windy City;). Academically, she is a member of the Science National Honor Society and an AVCA Best & Brightest honoree. She is the co-founder of Angel Share Charity. Artiles intends to major in Communications.
 
Gigi is the daughter of Aimee and Frank Artiles. She has an older sister, Isabella. Her grandfather, Michael Sontag, played football at Tulane.

She's been blessed to be around some special coaches, and she's taken full advantage of it, each and every day. There's not much Gigi can't do on the volleyball court, and we can't wait to watch her make her impact here."
 
Taylor Bruce | OPP | 5-9 | Cary, N.C. | Green Hope HS
Opposite Taylor Bruce signs to Georgia from Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina. She's earned SWAC All-Conference honors, First Team All-State recognition, and was the Big South MVP. Bruce helped NC Academy 15 Diamond to an undefeated season and the 2023 NEQ championship and NC Academy 16 Diamond to the 2024 Big South title and later captured the 2025 Big South championship with NC Academy 18 Diamond. Bruce played in the NCVBA All-Star game.
 
Off the court, she's involved in Student-Athlete Advisory Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Morgan's Message, Black Students Association, and Falcon Frenzy, and has been on the Honor Roll (2023–25). She intends to major in Business.
 
Taylor is the daughter of Tiffany and Everett Bruce III. She has a younger brother, Everet IV.
 
Black on Bruce: "Taylor is a dynamic, super exciting player to watch. She competes without fear and takes the court every day like it's a gift and never a duty. Arms like hers are special, and it's going to be incredibly exciting seeing the player she evolves into."
 
Rylan Miller | L/DS | 5-7 | Palm Coast, Fla. | Matanzas HS
Libero/defensive specialist Rylan Miller signs to Georgia from Matanzas High School in Palm Coast, Florida. Rated a four-star prospect by Volleyball Recruiter Magazine, Miller has been ranked the No. 1 libero in Florida by Prep Dig and a Top-20 libero nationally by both Prep Dig and VB Adrenaline. She is an AVCA Phenom Watch List selection with invitations to Under Armour camps and USA Volleyball's National Team Development Program. She was named all-state and all-area as a freshman, sophomore, and junior.
 
She played club for OTVA Jacksonville for three seasons. Miller intends to major in Nutrition or Exercise Science at UGA.
 
Rylan is the daughter of Monica and Rob Miller. She has a younger sister, Avery.
 
Black on Miller: "Rylan is a special player and even better person. Her play on the court is enough to impress anyone, but when you see how much work she puts in, how much extra time, and what kind of teammate she is, then you really begin to understand the player she's going to become."
 
Arianna Muoneke | OH | 6-0 | Cypress, Texas | Cy Fair HS
Outside hitter Arianna Muoneke signs to Georgia from Cy Fair High School in Cypress, Texas. A 2024 All-Greater Houston First Team (6A) selection, Muoneke was the District 17-6A Most Outstanding Hitter and earned AVCA Girls High School All-Region and AVCA All-America Watch List honors. She's been recognized nationally by PrepVolleyball as a Club All-American in 2023 and an Honorable Mention in 2024, a Top 150 in the Nation in 2023 and 2024, and a 2025 Fall Star in 2022. Earlier accolades include 2023 All-District First Team 17-6A, multiple AVCA Phenom Watch List nods, 2022 All-Greater Houston Private School Newcomer of the Year, 2022 First Team All-District Tapps 2-6A, and 2022 Second Team All-State. Muoneke played club with the Texas Tornadoes for two seasons.
 
Off the court, she's involved with All n One Sports and earned Academic All Honor Roll Team (2024). She intends to major in Fashion Merchandising.
 
Arianna is the daughter of Lenea and Gabriel Muoneke. Her sister, Bianna, is a junior on the Bulldogs roster. They have two brothers: Dubem and Zibem. Her dad played basketball at Texas. 
 
Black on Muoneke: "Ari comes from a storied athletic family, and she's hungry to make her mark. She's incredibly coachable, can hit with power, and has the potential to be a true all-around volleyball player. We can't wait to get to work with her."
