GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Freshman guard Trinity Turner led all scorers with 20 points, but the Georgia Lady Bulldogs could not overcome 22 turnovers in the 73-57 loss to Florida on Sunday at Exactech Arena.

• Lady Bulldog freshman guard Trinity Turner scored 20 points or more for the second time this season for her 10th double-figure scoring game. Turner went 8-of-16 from the field.
• Freshman guard/forward Miyah Verse reached double figures for the third-straight game and finished one rebound shy of another double-double with 15 points and nine boards.
• Georgia got into early foul trouble and fell behind, 20-7, in the first quarter. Florida shot 56 percent compared to the Lady Bulldogs' 31 percent clip, as the Gators led 25-10 at the end of one.
• The Lady Bulldogs went on a 7-0 run in the second period to close the gap to 35-22, but Florida hit four-straight field goals to lead 44-27 at the break. Georgia committed 13 first-half turnovers, compared to just four miscues from the Gators.
