Co-Head Coach Ryan Roberts spent four seasons in Tuscaloosa as an assistant coach, helping lead the team to the 2021 SEC Championship. Roberts also achieved his Master of Business Administration from Alabama in 2021.

Assistant Coach Oleksii Koltakov also spent two seasons as the volunteer assistant coach for the Crimson Tide in 2021 and 2022 where he first worked with Coach Roberts.

Freshman Brooke Gleichowski returned to her hometown of Gainesville, Fla. to represent the Bulldogs and came back to Athens with a crown. Gleichowski's 9.950 routine became the highest score from any individual on any event for Georgia's team this season.Â

The beam specialist set a career high in Florida. Her routine as the Bulldogs' anchor secured a new season record for the team in the event, a 49.350, to lift Georgia up 14 spots to No.19 in the national beam ranking.

Sophomore JaFree Scott's beam routine features assumed the Georgia moonwalk tradition. She is the eighth GymDog to perform the moonwalk on the balance beam, following Nikki Childs, Cassidy McComb, Lindsey Cheek, Mary Beth Box, Morgan Reynolds, Sabrina Vega, and Soraya Hawthorne.

For the first time in program history, the GymDogs have co-head coaches beginning in the 2025 season.  Hall of Fame USA Gymnastics coach Cecile Canqueteau-Landi and Ryan Roberts – who has spent the past six seasons as an assistant coach at Alabama and Georgia –were named co-head coaches of the University of Georgia gymnastics program by J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Josh Brooks on April 25, 2024.
