BOULDER, Colo. – The Georgia volleyball team fell in five sets to the University of Colorado to open the Buffs Classic Friday at the CU Events Center (25-22, 19-25, 21-25, 25-23, 9-15).

Bianna Muoneke led the match with 23 kills, tying a career best, the second 20-kill match for the sophomore this season.
Senior setter Clara Brower recorded her first double-double of the season, registering 51 assists with a season-high 13 digs. Brower also had a season-high five blocks.
Sophomore Ceci Gooch recorded a new career-high nine kills.
Graduate Sophie Fischer joined Muoneke in double-digit figures with 10 kills.
Graduate Krista Blakely put up a season-high six kills, tied a career-best four sigs, and had three blocks.
Georgia hit .429 en route to an opening set win. Muoneke and Blakely co-led the Dawgs with four kills each in the set.
