ATHENS, Ga.  --- The Georgia gymnastics team is back in Stegeman Coliseum for a Southeastern Conference clash against the Florida Gators on Friday, February 2 at 7 p.m.  The meet will be broadcast on the SEC Network's Friday Night Heights. Â

LILY SMITH SCORES A PERFECT 10 ON BARS
In her third meet as a GymDog, freshman Lily Smith scored a Perfect 10 on bars. Â

Lily Smith is only the fourth freshman in Georgia gymnastics history to record a Perfect 10 on bars and the tenth to achieve a 10.0 in their rookie season- marking the first since 2001.
Â
Smith's 10.0 is the first from a GymDog since Rachel Baumann on floor in 2022 and the first on bars since Marissa Oakley in 2019. Â

Four freshmen competed 10 routines in Georgia's first three meets this season and then two more freshmen made their debuts against Kentucky for a total of six gymnasts competing 14 routines. Â

Ady Wahl competes in all four events, scoring a 9.900 on bars and floor with a high all-around score of 39.375.Â

Lily Smith notched a Perfect 10 in week three on bars and contributed a 9.950 on beam and a 9.925 on floor.  She has two SEC Freshman of the Week accolades under her belt and ranks second in the country on bars. She competed all-around for the first time against Kentucky.Â

Anya Turner leads the team with a 9.867 average on beam. Â

Jaydah Battle has competed on vault and beam, notching a season-high score of 9.775 on vault and 9.875 on beam against Missouri.  She ranks second on the team in beam average with a 9.858.Â

Holly Snyder and Zora Morgan made their debuts on bars and beam, respectively, against Kentucky.  Snyder and Smith led the team with scores of 9.950 on bars.  Morgan was the top scorer for the GymDogs on beam with a 9.850. Â

SIDNEY FITZGERALD STEPS UPÂ
Sophomore Sidney Fitzgerald competed on beam three times last season, notching a season-high 9.800 against Arkansas late in the regular season.  In all three meets this season the Evans, Georgia native has competed on bars, beam, and floor. She improved her career-beam score to a 9.850 and received scores of 9.800 on bars and 9.900 on floor. Â
