The Starting 5...
- Georgia will face its second top-25 opponent in a 26-hour span on Sunday morning when the Bulldogs face No. 22/20 St. John's at 11 a.m. in the Imperial Arena at Atlantis Paradise Island.
- Five Bulldogs are averaging double figures, led by Asa Newell's 15.5 ppg, and seven Dogs have scored in double figures a combined 26 times in six games to date.
- Marquette, UGA's opponent on Saturday, and St. John's represent the first two of 16 regular-season games the Bulldogs will play against teams included in this week's edition of ESPN's Bracketology. Georgia was the final squad of the "next four out" in those projections.

- Asa Newell exploded for 26 points in the Bulldogs' season opener against Tennessee Tech on Nov. 4. That tied Dominique Wilkins for the most points ever by a UGA freshman in their collegiate debut. Wilkins scored 26 points against Troy State on Nov. 22, 1979, in his first game as a Bulldog.
THE OPENING TIP
The Georgia Bulldogs will wrap up a challenging weekend at Atlantis on Sunday morning when they face No. 22/20 St. John's at Imperial Arena. The game will tip off 24 hours after Georgia took on No. 15/15 Marquette, dropping an 80-69 decision to the Golden Eagles.
Georgia's balanced office features a quintet of Bulldogs averaging double figures and two more with double-digit tallies this season. All told, those seven players have combined to produce 26 double-figure scoring outputs in six games to date.
Freshman Asa Newell, the reigning SEC Player of the Week, leads the Bulldogs in both scoring (15.5 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg).
Silas Demary Jr. and Dakota Leffew have almost the exact same production at 13.8 ppg and 13.7, respectively, while Blue Cain chips in 11.3 ppg.
RJ Godfrey, who recorded double-doubles in two of the season's first three outings, and Somto Cyril, who scored a career-high 11 points against Alabama A&M, are the sixth and seventh Bulldogs to produce a double-digit output.
