Georgia split a pair of matches on the road last weekend, taking down the Tennessee Lady Vols in five sets on Friday and falling in four sets to No. 13 Kentucky on Sunday. The Bulldogs battled hard as both matches featured 40 ties. Erykah Lovett and Bianna Muoneke each paces the offense and defense as they each recorded double-doubles in both matches. Lovett went off against her former team on Friday, tallying 23 kills and 20 digs with four blocks. In Friday's match, Sophie Fischer tallied her 425th career block assist, breaking the all-time UGA record.

A Look at What's Ahead
The season will conclude next week at Stegeman Coliseum when Georgia hosts Mississippi State on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and No. 20 Florida on Saturday, Nov. 30. First serve against MSU is set for 6 p.m. on Wednesday with Sunday's season finale set for a 1 p.m. start against the Gators.

Fischer Breaks UGA Block Assists Record
Sophie Fischer tallied the 425th block assist of her Georgia career at Tennessee on Nov. 15, breaking Valentina Gonzalez's record of 424 that had stood since 2010. Fischer will end her career as a top-four blocker in Athens with 466 total blocks in her career.

Bulldogs Signs Five for 2025 Season
Tom Black announced the signing of five student-athletes to the 2025 roster. The class includes outside hitters Olivia Borgman (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) and Alex Richter (Dallas, Texas), middle blocker Emma Bryson (Fletcher, N.C.), setter Chloe Elarton (Castle Pines, Colo.), and libero/defensive specialist Keira Steininger (St. Mary's, Ohio). "We're thrilled about this 2025 class," Black remarked. "As players and people, we are confident they're going to do great things for Georgia volleyball. We can't wait to get in the gym and get to work."

Aces Wild
The Bulldogs are among the top serving teams in the league, ranking fourth with 1.68 aces per set and third in the SEC with 165 total service aces. Erykah Lovett ranks fifth in the league with 0.38 aces per set. Georgia has topped 10 aces in a match three times in 2024. Georgia set a program record with 19 service aces against Washington on Sept. 7. The new mark topped the previous record of 17 set in 2017.

8,376 Pack Stegeman for Georgia State Record
The University of Georgia welcomed 8,736 Bulldog faithful to Stegeman Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 11. The number not only shattered the program attendance record, but also set a new mark for an NCAA volleyball match in the state of Georgia, topping the previous mark of 5,303 set by Georgia Tech in 2023. Georgia defeat South Carolina in a five-set thriller.

Fischer Records 1,000th UGA Kill
Sophie Fischer recorded the 1,000th kill of her Georgia career in the opening set of Sunday's match against Ole Miss. She is the 20th member of Georgia's 1,000 Kill Club.
