On the team's performance against Texas A&M…
" I know from yesterday coming over today, there were so many questions. I have so much care and love for this team, so we want to come out big. I think we started with a great roll, and then things felt like they were getting a little away from us. Still some huge, big scores, but it was because of the attention to detail, and finding these little moments that we brought this into a tie-score situation.
And what's really special about a tie is it means that every single ride, all 20 of them, go into that total. And so sometimes when you sit here and go, 'Oh, man, I didn't make my point or it was a push, you know, did I really matter?' Well, the answer is it really does matter. And all those little moments, we took care of enough to make this go on our way.
I think what's incredible about it is just that feeling and that breath this team has. Now, knowing, hey, listen, we've gotten this monkey off our back and we can go and do so much more. This was an incredibly great team.
This is a number two team coming in here, our first SEC play. So this is huge for us to move forward and to be looking to the next meet and building off this momentum."
On the MOP-winning rides…
"I also just have got to mention our MOP riders, having our sophomore Cadence come in there with a huge 72. I think that's the highest score of that entire event.
Then seeing Jordan Toering just continuing to rule out there in the flat, seeing that huge spread in her score, just a lot of individual performances that really helped push the mark. So really proud of these Dawgs."
