FULL MEET NOTES

ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 8 University of Georgia gymnastics team will compete at Elevate the Stage in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. CT at the Legacy Arena.

The podium style meet will also feature No. 10 Minnesota, and No. 20 Arkansas, and No. 39 Michigan State

The GymDogs will start on beam before moving to floor, then vault, and finishing on bars.

The meet will be available via FloGymnastics streaming, though viewers will have to pay for a subscription to be able to watch.

CONFERENCE OPPONENTS FACE OFF
The Georgia GymDogs have already defeated SEC-foe Arkansas this season with a score of 197.475- 196.125.

Similarly for the BIG Ten rivals, Minnesota beat Michigan State, 196.600-194.450. Both victories came to the home team.

HOLDING THE ADVANTAGE
The GymDogs hold the advantage at Elevate the State and hope to bounce back after a disappointing night at LSU last week. Georgia has posted the highest score this season of the four teams competing on Friday night and holds a strong advantage in each of the series histories against the opposing schools. Georgia is undefeated against both Minnesota and Michigan State with only four all-time losses to Arkansas.
